FAQ
Your Questions, Answered
Everything you need to know before booking your consultation.
Getting Started
Do I need to live in Chicago to work with you?
Not at all. We serve clients throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs in person, and we work with clients anywhere through our Virtual Design service.
What's the difference between an interior decorator and an interior designer?
Decorating focuses on the look and feel of a space — color, furniture, layout, and styling — without structural or construction changes. It's the perfect fit for refreshing and elevating a home you love.
How do we get started?
Book a consultation through our contact form. We'll follow up to schedule your session and send a short questionnaire so we're ready to dive in.
Pricing & Investment
How much does an interior decorator in Chicago cost?
Every project is scoped individually. We'll walk you through a transparent, tailored proposal during your consultation, with accessible entry points like Virtual Design and Decorator for a Day.
Can you work within my budget?
Yes. We design to your investment level and are transparent about where your dollars go. We'll recommend where to splurge and where to save.
Process & Timeline
How long does a project take?
A single styled room can take a few weeks; a full-room design typically runs 6–12 weeks depending on furniture lead times. We'll give you a realistic timeline up front.
Do you work with my existing furniture?
Absolutely. We love blending pieces you already own with new, curated finds so the space feels collected — not like a showroom.
Virtual Design & Logistics
Do you offer virtual interior design in Chicago?
Yes. Our Virtual Design (E-Design) service delivers a custom design board, layout, and shopping list digitally, so you can implement on your own schedule from anywhere.
What areas do you serve?
Chicago proper — Lincoln Park, Gold Coast, Lakeview, West Loop, Bucktown, and more — plus North Shore and western suburbs like Evanston, Wilmette, Hinsdale, and Naperville.
